Executive Summary
The National Coalition on Health Care’s recommendations represent the consensus view of its 85 member organizations and are grounded in the understanding that America’s health system is on an unsustainable course. The Coalition questions why -- when we have a health care system that is projected to waste an estimated $10 trillion over the next ten years –are we raising taxes to pay for reform rather than focusing on better utilization of the money already in the system?
