Nearly 45,000 annual deaths are associated with lack of health insurance, according to a new study published online today by the American Journal of Public Health. That figure is about two and a half times higher than an estimate from the Institute of Medicine (IOM) in 2002.

45,000 deaths is just not enough to get the conservatives to feel bad enough about unnecessary deaths to get them to support healthcare reform. They are just too greedy to want to help anyone with their tax money. Their idea is to put off healthcare reform (kill it) so they can get it right (do nothing), the same as they have been doing for decades. They prefer to Eliminate all government healthcare programs like Medicare and Medicaid and let the poor “Die Quickly”. Keeping their tax dollars to themselves is FAR more important to them than the lives of the poor. What we've got are just commercials of the kind http://www.videorolls.com/watch/Cause-of-Death-A-Commentary-on-Health-Care-Reform
